On the eve of the "Last Bell" and graduation party celebrations, the Capital's Police Department officially issues a warning to the legal representatives of students in order to ensure the safety of minors. Law enforcement agencies urge parents to maximize control over their children's behavior during this period.

According to official data from the department, there has been an increase in instances where graduates organize noisy parties that disrupt public order and rent car processions (motorcades) while flagrantly violating traffic rules.

"Such illegal actions lead to breaches of public order, create hazardous traffic situations on the roads, and result in other offenses," the press service of the Police Department emphasized.

Law enforcement officers remind that parents themselves bear direct legal responsibility first and foremost for their children's safety and unlawful behavior.

In light of the current situation, law enforcement agencies advise legal representatives to adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Constant Monitoring: Regularly track the whereabouts and locations of your children.
  • Curfew Adherence: Prevent schoolchildren from being outside the home or visiting entertainment venues at night without the companionship of their legal representatives (parents).
  • Preventative Discussions: Conduct legal and preventative conversations with children regarding the compliance with public order and safety rules.
  • Explaining Consequences: Explain the legal consequences and dangers of consuming alcohol, engaging in risky behavior on the roads, and participating in high-risk events.

As a reminder, the Kursiv news edition previously reported that Kazakhstan registered a record number of high school graduates this year, marking a 25-year high. This, in turn, demands a doubling of safety measures in public spaces.
