Air Astana Resumes Flights to Dubai

Air Astana has announced that it will resume regular flights to Dubai from both Astana and Almaty starting July 15. The airline's press office noted that they are continuously monitoring regional developments and warned that flight schedules remain subject to change depending on the security situation in the Middle East. Passengers will be notified promptly if any further adjustments occur.

The airline had temporarily suspended air travel to the United Arab Emirates on July 12, notably cancelling flight KC897 from Almaty to Dubai. Since February of this year, geopolitical tensions involving the US, Israel, and Iran have repeatedly led to flight delays and cancellations on this route.

Air Astana had previously restarted flights from Almaty on June 20 and from Astana on July 10. Due to the closure of Iranian airspace, the aircraft are currently navigating through Pakistani territory.
