The administration of the Burabay State National Nature Park has provided an official explanation regarding why it is impossible to install widespread comfortable beaches and restrooms along the entire coastline of the resort area. This issue, which is frequently raised on social media, is directly related to the special status of the territory.

According to the national park, the recreational pressure on the ecosystem is increasing every year. Specifically, about 70,000 tourists visited the resort between June 15 and June 21. Experts believe that installing full-scale infrastructure along more than 100 kilometers of coastline would cause irreparable harm to nature.

"To comply with sanitary requirements, about 400 restrooms would be needed. Ensuring their continuous maintenance, water supply, and waste removal is a format typical of city parks, but for a specially protected natural area, this is inappropriate," the national park's press service stated.

Furthermore, it was warned that swimming in non-designated areas is dangerous. Water quality is tested, the lake bottom is cleaned, and lifeguard supervision is provided only on official beaches. On unequipped shores, no one can guarantee the absence of dangerous underwater obstacles, sharp drops in depth, or other risk factors.

The national park's leadership emphasized that the main goal of the area, which covers 130,000 hectares and includes seven large lakes, is to maintain ecological balance.
