The issue of social media bullying and cyberharassment directed at Kazakhstan's school teachers is becoming increasingly prevalent. Recently, specialized accounts have emerged on the TikTok platform that publish photographs of teachers edited with offensive language and insulting music. Specifically, it was discovered that students at a school in Kokshetau have been systematically posting videos mocking their teachers and even accepting "requests" for such content from other schools, according to Kursiv.kz.

Askhat Aimagambetov, a Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, issued an official statement regarding this matter. He urged the teaching community not to tolerate such misconduct and to immediately file complaints with law enforcement agencies. According to the Deputy, modern technologies make it possible to identify the "digital footprint" of any illegal activity online. Therefore, identifying and holding the owners of anonymous accounts accountable does not pose a significant challenge for the police.

Askhat Aimagambetov emphasized that these actions are not limited to the Administrative Code and may, in certain cases, result in criminal liability. Parents will be held legally responsible for the indecent behavior and insulting actions of their minor children online. These measures are essential for protecting the professional status of teachers in society and curbing cyberbullying within the school environment.
