Air Astana and FlyArystan Suspend Flights from Kazakhstan to Dubai Until Late September

Kazakhstan's carriers Air Astana and FlyArystan have announced an extension of their flight suspensions to Dubai through September 30. This decision has been implemented as a security precaution following the destabilization of the geopolitical situation across the Persian Gulf and the broader Middle East region.

Previously, Air Astana had grounded its Dubai-bound flights until August 31. However, due to ongoing regional uncertainties, flights originating from Almaty and Astana to the major hub in the United Arab Emirates have been postponed until the end of September. Furthermore, the flight schedule for October has been revised, resulting in reduced flight frequencies.

To assist affected passengers, Air Astana offers the following support options:

• Free Rebooking: Tickets for canceled flights can be rebooked free of charge for travel up to November 20 within the same booking class.

• Full Refunds: Passengers are entitled to a complete refund of the ticket price without any penalties.

• Route Exchanges: Tickets can be transferred free of charge to other international routes operated by Air Astana, subject to any applicable fare differences.

Meanwhile, FlyArystan has extended the temporary suspension of its Aktau – Dubai – Aktau route through September 30 inclusively. Flights on this route will resume starting October 3 under the winter flight schedule. The airline stated that additional updates will be provided should the operational environment shift.

FlyArystan passengers whose flights have been canceled are also eligible to rebook their tickets for alternative dates free of charge or claim a full refund at their original point of purchase.
