Access to housing at a younger age plays a crucial role in improving demographic trends, according to Otbasy Bank Board Chairwoman Lazzat Ibragimova. Speaking at a government media briefing, she presented international research showing that young couples who secure a home earlier tend to raise significantly larger families.

The study demonstrated that offering housing without an initial down payment - requiring only consistent monthly installments - raised the probability of having a child by 32% among adults aged 20 to 25. Ultimately, those who acquire residential property in their twenties end up having twice as many children as those who obtain housing in their thirties or forties. Among recipients over the age of 40, no notable increase in birth rates was recorded.

Furthermore, Ibragimova outlined plans to refine future mortgage distribution by considering the housing assets of an applicant's broader family. Under the proposed model, candidates whose parents live in rural areas would receive priority over applicants from families that already hold property in major urban centers. Advanced data analytics and AI technologies are set to be integrated into the selection framework to maintain transparency and fairness.
