A U.S.-based human rights organization has confirmed 3,090 deaths, including 2,885 protesters. According to several residents contacted by Reuters, Tehran has been relatively quiet over the past four days. Residents, who requested anonymity, reported seeing drones flying over the city, but noted there were no signs of major protests on Thursday or Friday.

Meanwhile, the monitoring group NetBlocks reports a "very slight" increase in internet connectivity in Iran as of Saturday morning, following a 200-hour national blackout. Connectivity levels are estimated at around 2% of normal levels, the report stated.

Several Iranians living abroad posted on social media that they were able to establish contact with users inside Iran early Saturday morning, Reuters noted.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump, who had threatened "very severe measures" if Iran executed protesters, announced that the authorities had canceled the mass executions.

"I deeply respect the fact that all the hangings planned for yesterday (more than 800 of them) were canceled by the Iranian leadership. Thank you!" he wrote on Truth Social.
