By a new decree from the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Kazakhstan (No. 1-PGSV, dated January 5, 2026), a temporary ban has been imposed on the import and sale of several types of black tea across the country, reports the Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Committee of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During laboratory analysis, experts identified dangerous food dyes—E110, E102, and E124—which are strictly prohibited for use in tea production. Additionally, it was found that the manufacturers provided false addresses on the packaging and operated without the required authorization documents.

List of banned products:

  •  "Apamnyng Shaiy Premium Gold," "Al-Hayat" Gold, and "BALKIYA Premium Gold" (Manufactured by "Orda Trade Astana");
  •  "Sultan Suleyman" and "Pakistan Tea" (Manufactured by "Real Trade Astana");
  •  "Al-Jannat Premium" (Manufactured by "Ferdaus");
  •  "Aje Onim" (Manufactured by "Orda Chai");
  •  "Alfarah" (Manufacturer unknown).
