Iran has officially rejected a U.S. proposal to engage in negotiations, refusing to reach a settlement. According to Reuters, Tehran did not support a 15-point draft agreement presented through Pakistan's mediation. The Iranian side stated that its current position remains firm and unchanged.

Iran’s primary conditions for any potential resolution include a total end to "aggression," formal guarantees that hostilities will not resume, the payment of reparations, a complete ceasefire, and the official recognition of Iran's control over the Strait of Hormuz.

Additionally, The Wall Street Journal reported that Tehran's list of demands includes the closure of U.S. military bases, the lifting of all sanctions, the right to collect transit fees from ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, the continuation of its nuclear program, and the cessation of attacks against Hezbollah. For its part, the United States has characterized these demands as "unrealistic and groundless."
