Kazakhstani Sisters Found Dead in Sharjah Apartment

Two Kazakhstani sisters have been found dead in an apartment in Sharjah, UAE, following several days of silence that triggered an urgent search by their family. Kazakhstan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) confirmed the tragic deaths, stating that diplomatic staff are maintaining constant contact with the victims' relatives and facilitating all required assistance.

According to family members, the sisters moved to Dubai in December 2025 to work in the beauty industry before eventually relocating to Sharjah. Communication suddenly ceased on August 17 when their messages stopped going through, prompting the family to alert local Kazakh diplomatic representatives. Police subsequently located the bodies inside their residence, and a suspect - also reported to be a Kazakhstani citizen - has been taken into custody by local law enforcement.

While official investigation proceedings are underway in the UAE, the grief-stricken family is urging authorities to expedite the repatriation of the bodies and ensure a swift, thorough investigation into the crime.
