Five Candidates Per Seat: Winners of the Prestigious "Bolashak" Scholarship Announced

The prestigious "Bolashak" international scholarship has been awarded to 232 Kazakhstani citizens following a fierce selection process with more than five applicants competing for every single allocation. The decision was finalized during the latest meeting of the Republican Commission for Training Abroad, chaired by the Head of the Presidential Administration, Roman Sklyar.

The new cohort of scholars covers various levels of higher education and advanced training:

• 179 scholars will pursue Master's degrees

• 12 scholars will undertake Doctoral studies (Ph.D.)

• 1 scholar will complete Undergraduate studies

• 40 professionals will complete specialized internships at world-leading organizations

In line with national priorities, the "Bolashak" program continues to place strong emphasis on vital sectors, including engineering and technology, medicine, information technology, environmental sciences, and education.

The complete list of scholarship recipients and scientific internship winners will be released on the official platforms of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education on August 27, starting after 10:00 AM.
