Police conducted an emergency inspection at the "Raiymbek Batyr" metro station in Almaty following a report of a possible explosive device. The city’s Police Department press service later confirmed that specialists found no dangerous objects.

On Thursday morning, November 5, a female passenger notified station staff that an explosive device had allegedly been planted at "Raiymbek Batyr." Emergency response units immediately carried out a thorough sweep of the premises, concluding that no explosives or suspicious items were present.

During the security operation, passengers were temporarily barred from entering the station and advised to use alternative modes of public transport, while police personnel secured the entrances.

Preliminary findings indicate that the woman who raised the false alarm is currently registered at a mental health center. Law enforcement authorities are conducting an investigation to provide a formal legal assessment of her actions.

According to the press service of the Almaty Metro, the system has fully resumed normal operations, with trains running according to their regular schedule without restrictions.
