Prices for domestically manufactured vehicles in Kazakhstan could experience a further decline by the end of the year, according to Minister of Industry and Construction Yersaiyn Nagaspayev.

The Minister highlighted that prices for locally produced automobiles have already decreased by approximately 11 percent in recent months, supplemented by various promotional discounts offered by dealerships.

"Overall, the prices of Kazakhstan-made cars are on a downward trend. According to our data, they have dropped by around 11 percent over the past few months. On top of that, dealers are providing various incentives. I observe a clear trend toward lower pricing," Nagaspayev stated.

According to the Minister, vehicle prices are anticipated to drop further throughout November and December. This seasonal adjustment occurs as consumer demand for current-year models naturally declines when buyers begin anticipating next year's lineup.

"As the year draws to a close, current production models gradually lose market demand as consumers prepare to purchase 2027 models. It is natural to expect additional discounts in November and December, and I believe prices will continue to drop," he added.

Nagaspayev also emphasized the steady annual expansion of Kazakhstan's domestic automotive industry. Vehicle manufacturing reached 171,000 units in 2025, with production targeted to reach 191,000 units in 2026.

Specific discount margins and the precise car models covered under upcoming year-end promotions have not yet been disclosed.
