Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to Kazakhstan on May 27–29 at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Kazinform correspondent reports.

During the talks, the heads of state will discuss the current status and future prospects of the strategic partnership and alliance between Kazakhstan and Russia.

On May 28, Astana will host the Eurasian Economic Forum with the participation of the heads of member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

The meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council is scheduled for May 29.

Regional economic cooperation issues will be considered within the framework of these events.
