No military parade is planned in Kazakhstan this year to mark Victory Day. This information was officially confirmed by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to the Ministry, instead of a solemn parade, various military-patriotic events will be organized across the country. These include:

• Lessons of Courage and ceremonies to honor veterans;

• Military band marches and performances by creative groups;

• Environmental campaigns and the traditional "Soldier's Porridge" event;

• Exhibitions of military equipment and weaponry, as well as open house days.

These events are aimed at awakening the patriotic spirit of the youth and increasing respect for the Armed Forces of our country.

It should be noted that last year, for the first time since 2020, a large-scale military parade dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory was held in the capital. More than 4,000 military personnel from all branches of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan took part in that solemn event.

It is reported that this year's decision was made for the purpose of saving budget funds and fulfilling other priority tasks.
