Who Can Earn 2–3 Million Tenge in Kazakhstan? Insights from the Ministry of Labor

The high-paying professions in Kazakhstan’s labor market have been revealed. According to the February results from the Enbek.kz electronic labor exchange, employers are prepared to pay over 2 million tenge per month for specific technical and engineering positions.

The press service of the Ministry of Labor reports that market demand remains primarily concentrated in the social sphere, services, and blue-collar occupations. In February, employers posted 99,000 vacancies, while 124,900 resumes were submitted. The highest concentration of job openings was observed in the Pavlodar region, Astana, and the Turkestan region.

Top-Paying Professions Offered by Employers:

At the start of this year, the most substantial salary offers were directed toward the following specialists:

• Oil and Gas Field Development Research Engineer – approximately 3.6 million tenge;

• Chief Project Technologist in Construction – 2.8 million tenge;

• Materials Science Technicians – 2.2 million tenge.

Highest Salary Expectations from Job Seekers:

• Pilots – 3.3 million tenge;

• Investment Project Directors – 2.1 million tenge;

• Course Developers – 2 million tenge.

Ministry officials noted that the labor market is currently seeing high activity from young people and job seekers from the southern regions of the country.
