In 2025, Kazakhstan imported 10,954 tons of flowers and flower buds valued at $77.6 million. These figures were released by the Bureau of National Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to the report, the volume of imports decreased by 1.4 thousand tons compared to 2024.

Ecuador remains the primary supplier of flowers to Kazakhstan, accounting for 41.9% of the total import volume, or 4,586 tons.

Other major suppliers include:

• China: 2,678 tons

• Netherlands: 1,702 tons

• Colombia: 778 tons

• Kenya: 739 tons

In total, Kazakhstan imported flowers from 45 different countries last year. Roses were the most popular variety brought into the country, accounting for 6,219 tons of the total imports.
