When will salaries in Kazakhstan reach 600,000 tenge?

According to experts from the Analytical Credit Rating Agency (ACRA), the average salary in Kazakhstan is expected to reach 605,000 tenge by 2028, reports kursiv.kz.

They note that real incomes of the population continue to grow, which remains one of the key factors supporting domestic demand.

“During 2024–2025, real monetary incomes of the population are increasing by 4–5% annually, while the real growth of the average salary is projected to be 1.2% by the end of the year,” the report states.

According to the agency, the average salary in Kazakhstan at the end of 2025 will be 423,000 tenge. By 2026, it is expected to rise to 501,000 tenge. In 2027, the forecasted average salary will reach 554,000 tenge. At the same time, the unemployment rate is expected to remain stable at 4.7% throughout the forecast period.

For comparison, according to the National Bureau of Statistics, the average salary in Kazakhstan reached 429,368 tenge in the third quarter of 2025, which is 10% higher than in 2024.
