US Dollar Exchange Rate on September 22: Currency Prices in Kazakhstan

The National Bank of Kazakhstan has fixed the official US dollar rate for September 22, 2026, at 448.44 KZT. Official rates for other major currencies stand at 514.81 KZT for the euro and 5.33 KZT for the Russian ruble.

Commercial exchange outlets present slightly different rates. As of the morning of September 22, exchange offices in Almaty are buying dollars at an average rate of 445 KZT and selling at 448 KZT. The euro is trading between 505 and 513.5 KZT, while the ruble ranges from 5 to 5.10 KZT.

In Astana, exchange points purchase dollars at around 444 KZT and sell at 451 KZT. Euro prices fluctuate between 510 and 520 KZT, with the Russian ruble trading at 4.95 to 5.15 KZT.

Consequently, dollar retail sales in Almaty started lower than in Astana this morning, though rates at individual exchange locations remain subject to adjustment throughout the day.
