Urgent Change at Astana Airport: New Traffic Schedule Announced

The press service of the Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport has announced temporary changes to traffic flow due to the commencement of road repair works.

According to official data, starting from May 21, 2026, work will be carried out on the airport grounds to resurface the asphalt on the terminal square and the access roads. Consequently, specific road sections will be temporarily closed during the repair period.

Potential changes to public transport and taxi routes

In addition to changes in the traffic flow layout within the area, adjustments may also be made to the schedules and routes of public transport and taxis.

The airport administration advises passengers and residents of the capital to plan their travel routes in advance and head to the airport earlier, taking into account potential traffic jams and restrictions. The management of the international airport apologizes for the temporary inconvenience and thanks citizens for their understanding.
