U.S. President Donald Trump has invited Kazakhstan to join the Peace Council being established to address the situation in Gaza. This information was confirmed to Tengrinews by Ruslan Zheldibay, the Press Secretary to the President of Kazakhstan.

According to Zheldibay, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was among the first world leaders to receive an official invitation to the council. Furthermore, Kazakhstan was invited to become one of the founding nations of this initiative.


"Yes, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was among the first world leaders to receive an official invitation to join the Peace Council. Kazakhstan was also offered to be one of the founding countries of this new association. The Head of State expressed his sincere gratitude to the U.S. President and sent a response letter confirming his agreement to participate in this initiative," said Ruslan Zheldibay.
