A set of triplets has been born in Almaty, bringing the total number of children in the family to six. The news was shared by the City Perinatal Center.

According to reports, the triplets were born to a 39-year-old woman who was already a mother of three. This was her fourth delivery. The pregnancy occurred naturally, and the infants arrived at 3:00 AM on the second day of her 32nd week of pregnancy.

The two boys and one girl are currently at the perinatal center under medical supervision. Since they were born prematurely, they were initially placed on respiratory support. The babies have been named Zangar, Aibar, and Asel. At birth, their weights and heights were recorded as follows: 1,840g and 42cm; 1,680g and 43cm; and 1,620g and 40cm, respectively. They are currently reported to be actively gaining weight and are being prepared for discharge.

Last year, the same perinatal center recorded two cases of triplets out of a total of 270 multiple pregnancies.
According to official information, another set of triplets was born just two days prior to a family in Kostanay, who also already had three children. The 31-year-old mother now has a total of three sons and three daughters.
