Three members of the Kazakhstan national freestyle moguls team have successfully secured their spots in the Olympic finals after a strong performance in the second qualifying round, reports Tengri Sport.
Athletes Anastasia Gorodko, Yulia Galysheva, and Ayaulym Amrenova, who were unable to secure direct qualification in the first round, made the most of their second chance. All three significantly improved their scores to join the elite group of finalists competing for Olympic medals.
Athlete Performance Highlights:
- Yulia Galysheva: The 2018 Olympic bronze medalist demonstrated her veteran experience once again, recording the highest score among the Kazakhstani trio to cruise into the final.
- Ayaulym Amrenova: Making her Olympic debut, Amrenova showed immense grit to claim the 20th and final qualifying spot, fulfilling the high expectations placed upon her.
- Anastasia Gorodko: Along with her teammates, Gorodko advanced comfortably. Heading into the decisive final stage, the Kazakhstani athletes are positioned in 15th, 16th, and 20th place, respectively.
The freestyle moguls finals are set to be a highly anticipated event as Kazakhstan aims for a podium finish.
