During the inaugural meeting of the Board of Peace, Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev put forward an initiative to establish a special award named after U.S. President Donald Trump. The Head of State noted that this award could serve as a symbol of recognition for extraordinary achievements in promoting global peace.

"Furthermore, I propose the establishment of a special award named after President Trump within the framework of the Board of Peace. This would be a mark of our respect for his immense achievements in advancing the cause of peace. I am confident that under your strong and visionary leadership, the Board will honorably fulfill its historic and noble mission," said Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The Board of Peace structure was originally proposed by Donald Trump as a mechanism to resolve the situation in the Gaza Strip. White House representatives have informally suggested that the organization could potentially perform some functions similar to the United Nations in the future. However, Trump himself emphasized that the Board is not intended to replace the UN.

The organization's first meeting took place on February 19 in Washington, D.C. Among the Central Asian nations, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have joined the Board of Peace.
