TikTok has signed agreements with three major investors—Oracle, Silver Lake, and MGX—to establish a new joint venture called TikTok US, reports CentralAsianow.

According to Euronews, this deal marks a significant milestone following a series of disputes that have persisted since August 2020. At that time, then-U.S. President Donald Trump made his first attempt to ban the application due to its Chinese origins, though that effort was ultimately unsuccessful.

The statement did not disclose the identities of other potential investors. Meanwhile, both TikTok and the White House have declined to comment on the matter.
