K-pop superstars BTS have officially announced their return to the stage after a four-year hiatus with a massive worldwide tour consisting of 79 concerts, according to the BBC.
Covering major cities such as London, Tokyo, Munich, Sydney, and Los Angeles, this tour is set to be the biggest event of the year. The group members have not performed outside of the US and South Korea since 2019.
The group's previous tour set a K-pop record, generating $246 million in revenue. During that time, BTS became the first Korean artists to hold a solo concert at Wembley Stadium. The new world tour will kick off on April 9, 2026, at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea, continuing across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
According to Billboard analysts, the group and their label, Hybe, are expected to earn over $1 billion from concerts, merchandise sales, and the new album.
