Threads Invites World’s Best Travel Blogger from Kazakhstan to International Summit

Dastan Mukhamedrakhim, the acclaimed Kazakhstani videographer and travel blogger, has reached a new milestone in his skyrocketing international career. Recently named the "World's Best Travel Blogger" by the WIBA Awards 2026, Mukhamedrakhim attended the prestigious Threads international forum as a specially invited guest.

During the high-profile event, the Kazakhstani creator engaged with some of the most influential figures in the digital and entertainment world. Mukhamedrakhim held a private meeting with Adam Mosseri, the CEO of Instagram, to discuss the future of digital storytelling.

Adding to the event's prestige, Dastan was seen alongside Hollywood superstar Zendaya and renowned travel influencer Joshua Platillero (widely known as Mega American), whose audience exceeds 7.5 million followers.

This invitation comes on the heels of another major announcement: Mukhamedrakhim has been officially invited to the Cannes Film Festival in France for a grand award ceremony on May 22. In his official invitation letter, organizers formally recognized him as the premier travel blogger on the global stage.
