Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed receiving a peace plan officially proposed by the United States. This was stated in an official message from the Office of the President of Ukraine.

“From the very beginning of Russia’s aggression, Ukraine has sought peace and supports any substantive proposal that brings it closer to a genuine peaceful life. Ukraine has supported President Trump’s initiatives since the beginning of this year and is now ready to work with US and European partners to achieve concrete results — peace,” the statement said.

According to the Office, Zelensky plans in the coming days to discuss diplomatic opportunities and the main points of the peace agreement with US President Donald Trump.

Earlier, Financial Times and Axios reported that the US is conducting secret consultations aimed at resolving the conflict in Ukraine with Russia.

The new peace plan has been presented to Kyiv, and the draft document reportedly includes demands from Ukraine to:

– Cede Donbas to Russia,

– Halve the size of its armed forces,

– Reduce US military aid,

– Grant Russian the status of a state language.
