President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev shared insights into his health and daily habits, noting that he regularly practices yoga and plays table tennis. The Head of State shared these details in an interview with the Turkistan newspaper.
According to the President, he has no health issues, and his blood pressure remains within the normal range. To maintain his physical fitness, Tokayev has integrated consistent exercise into his daily routine.
"I have made daily yoga a habit, though without the meditation aspect. A couple of times a week, I play table tennis with a former professional player. Indeed, I have lost nine kilograms, which has significantly improved my well-being," noted Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
During the conversation, the Head of State also touched upon the physical activity of other CIS leaders. According to him, many of them pay great attention to sports and a healthy lifestyle. In particular, he mentioned that Vladimir Putin recently demonstrated physical endurance during an informal event in Bishkek by participating in a match with a young judoka.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev trains regularly, Kyrgyz leader Sadyr Japarov plays football, and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev exercises in the gym. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan prefers cycling, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko continues to play hockey, and Tajik leader Emomali Rahmon maintains his health through cold-water tempering and physical exercise.
The Head of State emphasized that regular physical activity helps maintain productivity and high spirits, even under a heavy workload.
