Leading Kazakhstani oncologists have stated that there is no scientific evidence to suggest that stress directly causes cancer. Emotional distress does not transform healthy cells into tumors. However, chronic stress can negatively impact health by disrupting sleep patterns, increasing blood pressure, weakening the immune system, and encouraging harmful habits, which may create unfavorable conditions for disease progression.

Specialists note that tumors often take 5 to 15 years to develop; therefore, it is a misconception to label stress experienced shortly before a diagnosis as the direct cause of the illness. Doctors advise patients to stop blaming themselves and, instead, seek psychological support.

Currently, new treatment methods in oncology are developing rapidly. For instance, in China, the drug "satricel," based on CAR-T therapy, has been approved for the treatment of stomach cancer. This technology involves modifying immune cells to effectively target and eliminate cancer cells.
