Tennis Star Aryna Sabalenka Hits the Runway for Gucci at Milan Fashion Week

World No. 2 tennis player Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus took part in Vogue World: Milano, the high-profile fashion show that kicked off Milan Fashion Week.

The event took place on September 22 at the historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan. Walking alongside professional models, Sabalenka strutted down the runway in a custom look designed by Demna, the creative director of the renowned Italian fashion house Gucci. Released photos and footage show the athlete looking remarkably confident in front of the audience and photographers.

Following previous editions in New York, London, Paris, and Los Angeles, this marked the fifth iteration of Vogue World. The Milan show paid tribute to Italy's profound impact on global fashion, its heritage of craftsmanship, and its evolution in the era of modern technology.

Sabalenka is an official ambassador for Gucci and has previously featured on a digital cover for Vogue magazine.

In her most recent competitive appearance, the Belarusian star reached the final of the 2026 US Open, where she was defeated by Kazakhstan's Elena Rybakina with a score of 4-6, 7-5, 2-6. Following the tournament, Elena Rybakina claimed the No. 1 spot in the WTA rankings, while Sabalenka settled into second place.
