Teacher Dismissed in Astana for Striking Student

A school teacher in Astana has been dismissed after using physical force against a student, an incident officially confirmed by the city's Education Department.

According to the department, the incident was uncovered during an internal investigation. Following the results of the probe, the teacher was terminated under the relevant article of the Labor Code. Specifically, the dismissal was based on the commission of an immoral act by an employee performing educational functions, rendering them unfit to continue their professional duties.

Furthermore, disciplinary measures have been taken against the school's leadership. The school principal and their deputies have been held personally accountable and officially issued disciplinary sanctions.
