Spring Is Fighting Back: Major Warm-Up Predicted Across Kazakhstan

According to "Kazhydromet" meteorologists, a gradual warming trend is expected across all regions of Kazakhstan between March 12 and March 14. The influence of the cold anticyclone, which brought freezing temperatures to the northern and eastern parts of the country, is finally beginning to weaken.

Starting March 12, temperatures are projected to rise nationwide. In the northern regions, thermometers are expected to climb above the freezing point, while the southern regions will see a more significant warm-up, with temperatures reaching between +5 and +10 degrees Celsius by March 14.

However, experts warn that the character of March remains unpredictable. While the weather is warming, the month’s volatile nature will persist. Northern territories should prepare for snow, whereas the western and southern parts of the country are likely to experience rain and sleet. Additionally, residents should remain cautious of potential high winds, low-level blizzards, fog, and black ice on the roads.
