Sharp Deterioration of Weather Conditions Expected Across Kazakhstan This Weekend

Synopticians from the "Kazhydromet" have released the weather forecast for the upcoming weekend. According to experts, unstable weather conditions will persist across most of the country due to the passage of atmospheric frontal systems.
A rain-bearing cyclone moving from the direction of Kazan is expected to cause a significant shift in weather patterns across Kazakhstan. Most regions will experience rain accompanied by thunderstorms. In the northern regions, precipitation may transition into wet snow. Additionally, localized hail and gale-force winds are anticipated.
Due to the fluctuating temperatures, dense fog is likely to occur across the Republic during the nighttime and early morning hours.
Experts warn of a cold front that will cause temperatures to drop below freezing in several regions:
• April 26: Temperatures in the western and northwestern regions will drop to -2°C, leading to ground frost.
• April 27: Cold air masses will spread to the northern, eastern, and central regions of the country.
Regional Temperature Forecast:
• North: +10°C to +15°C
• Central: +10°C to +18°C
• East: +7°C to +20°C
• South: +15°C to +25°C
• West: +15°C to +20°C
According to specialists, early May may bring anomalous heat to the southern regions, with temperatures potentially soaring to +38°C ... +44°C. However, by mid-month, temperatures are expected to drop again, reaching as low as +1°C in some areas. The upcoming May holidays are projected to be rainy and unstable.
In light of these conditions, the Department of Emergency Situations urges citizens to remain vigilant and to closely monitor weather updates before embarking on long-distance travel.
