National Guard personnel are serving across all 17 stations of the route, operating in two shifts. Daily, more than 100 transport police officers and National Guard members patrol the stations and trains, securing a system where the average daily passenger traffic already exceeds 60,000–70,000 people.

These security measures have been organized jointly with police officers and the LRT administration. Servicemen are deployed not only directly inside the stations but also throughout their surrounding territories.

Specialized technical equipment and surveillance cameras have been deployed at the stations and inside the train carriages in areas of high crowd concentration.

As a reminder, the official launch of the LRT took place on May 16 at 13:00 Astana time, with the participation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the Akim of Astana, Zhenis Kassymbek.

During its first two weeks of operation, the LRT served more than one million passengers. Subsequently, the decision was made to officially name the system "Tarlan Astana."
