Selection of School Principals: Application Period and Testing Schedule Announced

In Kazakhstan, the next stage of testing for the appointment of heads of educational organizations on a competitive basis is set to begin. According to the National Testing Center, applications from candidates will be accepted from June 22 to June 23, 2026.

Registration Procedure:

 Application Submission: June 22–23 (via the app.testcenter.kz website).

 Testing Date: June 24.

 Participation Fee: 9,403 tenge.

Testing Structure:

The examination consists of 6 blocks designed to assess the candidates' qualifications. There are a total of 48 questions, with a maximum possible score of 48 and a passing threshold of 24 points.

1. Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (10 tasks, threshold – 5).

2. Law "On Education" (10 tasks, threshold – 5).

3. Law "On Anti-Corruption" (10 tasks, threshold – 5).

4. Law "On the Status of a Teacher" (10 tasks, threshold – 5).

5. Order No. 348 of the Minister of Education (4 tasks, threshold – 2).

6. Order No. 385 of the Minister of Education (4 tasks, threshold – 2).

This testing process is conducted to improve the legal literacy of management personnel in the education sector and to ensure the transparent, competitive appointment of school principals.
