The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan (SAMK) recently held a meeting in Astana to discuss the upcoming launch of the "Imam AI" project, according to the SAMK press service.

The project was presented by Timur Serikkanuly, Head of the Digital Development Department at SAMK. Imam AI is designed to streamline religious and educational outreach by providing believers with rapid access to information. The system aims to:

• Enhance Accessibility: Deliver prompt answers to religious inquiries.

• Modernize Education: Use AI to process and disseminate educational content.

• Strengthen Interaction: Improve communication between the religious administration and the public.

The meeting detailed the various stages of the project's rollout. The system is scheduled to commence its pilot phase in early May.

The Supreme Mufti, Nauryzbay Kazhy Taganuly, emphasized the critical role of digitalization in the modern era. He instructed the relevant departments to ensure high-quality implementation, noting that integrating advanced technology is essential for elevating the effectiveness of religious awareness efforts.
