One of the largest tournaments of the season has concluded in Indian Wells, USA. The women's singles final between world number two, Kazakhstan's Elena Rybakina, and the top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka turned into a true sporting drama.

The match was tense from the very first minutes. Rybakina took the early lead, dominating the first set with a 6-3 score. However, Sabalenka managed to level the playing field in the second set. In the third and deciding set, both athletes displayed world-class tennis. The fate of the tournament was ultimately decided in a tie-break, where Sabalenka's nerves proved stronger. The final score was 6-3, 3-6, 6-7.

Additionally, another compatriot, Anna Danilina, reached the final in the doubles category. Partnering with Serbia's Aleksandra Krunic, she narrowly lost to the American-Czech duo in the final stage (6-7, 4-6).

Despite the defeat, the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation praised these results, noting that our athletes are on equal footing with any world-class opponent.
