Real Estate Technical Passports Move Completely Online Starting June

Starting June 1, technical and cadastral passports for real estate in Kazakhstan will be issued exclusively in a digital format.
National Information Technologies JSC announced that one of the most frequently requested public services in the real estate sector is transitioning to a fully digital operating mode.
Previously, citizens had to visit Public Service Centers (PSCs) twice: first to submit the application and complete the payment, and a second time to collect the finalized physical document. This process was time-consuming, created long queues, and caused significant inconvenience, particularly for residents living in remote areas.
Now, the entire procedure - from application submission to the issuance of the final document - takes place online. Payment can be processed directly during the application stage, and the completed technical passport or duplicate cadastral passport is automatically uploaded to the user’s personal account under the "Service History" section. Physical visits to government offices are no longer required.
How to access the service via eGov.kz:
1. Log into the egov.kz portal and navigate to the following section: "Home" → "Real Estate" → "Purchase, Sale, Rent" or "Housing Relations."
2. Select the required service: "Issuance of a technical passport for real estate properties" or "Issuance of a duplicate cadastral passport."
3. Specify the property type and select the appropriate branch of the "Government for Citizens" State Corporation.
4. Fill in the required information, complete the online payment, and sign the request using any available method (Digital Signature/EDS, SMS verification, etc.).
The processing time for the document varies depending on the specific type of real estate property.
The service is also fully accessible through the eGov Mobile application.
