Putin First Comments on Wildberries Warehouse Attacks

Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the strikes targeting Wildberries logistics hubs for the first time, describing their overall impact as minor. Speaking at a meeting of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects, he acknowledged the harm caused while emphasizing that such actions lack critical consequence.

"Such attacks have not had, do not have, and will not have any significant consequences. But, of course, it is clear that they are causing harm. We understand this, we see it, and we know it," Putin said.

Since July, drone strikes attributed to Ukraine have hit multiple Wildberries facilities across several Russian cities, leading to casualties and burning large warehouse complexes. Earlier estimates indicate the fires destroyed approximately $6 billion worth of goods - an amount comparable to the annual budget of a major Russian region.
