President Tokayev's Gifted Watch Listed for Sale at 2.9 Million Tenge

Tazy dog breeder Anna Zakharova has put up for sale a timepiece personally presented to her by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, listing it for 2,899,000 tenge. She announced her decision on her Threads page.

The story dates back to the Nauryz celebrations in 2023, when Zakharova met with the Head of State and gifted him a 1.5-month-old Tazy puppy. In return, the President presented her with a watch featuring his personal signature.

Three years later, Zakharova has decided to sell the presidential gift. While acknowledging its immense sentimental and symbolic value, she explained that she simply does not wear it. The watch will come complete with all official documentation for the prospective buyer.

The asking price is set at 2,899,000 tenge, with room for negotiation. Zakharova believes the item will appeal strongly to watch collectors and estimates that its market value could appreciate over time—potentially reaching up to 30 million tenge over the next decade.
