U.S. President Donald Trump has announced his intention to impose a permanent ban on migration from Third World countries in order, as he stated, “to give the American system a chance to recover.” He made the announcement on his social media platform, Truth Social.

Trump did not specify which countries would fall under the restrictions. However, he emphasized that his administration is preparing a comprehensive set of measures that will affect both potential migrants and foreign nationals already residing in the United States.

In his new statement, the president also outlined plans to:

• end all federal payments and subsidies for those he refers to as “non-citizens”

• revoke passports of migrants who, in his words, “undermine public order”

• expel from the U.S. any foreign nationals deemed by authorities to be dependents, security threats, or “incompatible with Western civilization”

The announcement came just hours after a tragic incident in downtown Washington, where on November 27 an Afghan-born man opened fire on National Guard service members. One of the wounded service members later died in the hospital.
