Official Statement: Shooting Incident at Military Unit in Pavlodar Region

Law enforcement authorities have confirmed a shooting incident at a military unit in the Pavlodar region, resulting in the death of one contract serviceman and leaving another critically injured.
According to preliminary data, a serviceman discharged a service-issued weapon. The individual died at the scene from sustained injuries. During the incident, a second serviceman was also struck and sustained severe injuries.
The injured victim was immediately transported to the hospital and admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU). Medical professionals currently assess the patient's condition as serious but stable.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has officially announced the commencement of a criminal investigation into the matter.
Investigative measures are underway. To establish the full circumstances and underlying causes of the tragedy.
