The Minister of Science and Higher Education, Sayasat Nurbek, has signed an order amending the rules for conducting the Unified National Testing (UNT).

Under the new regulations, applicants who are unable to attend the test on their scheduled day may now take the exam on a subsequent day within the testing period, provided there are vacant seats in the testing hall.

Valid Reasons for Rescheduling:

• Illness or Hospitalization: Requires a medical certificate (Form №026/u) or a medical record excerpt (epicrisis).

• Death of a Close Relative: Requires a death certificate and documents confirming the relationship.

• Participation in Competitions/Olympiads: (National or international level) — requires an official order from the educational organization.

• Emergency Situations: (Social, natural, or man-made) - based on documents declaring a state of emergency.

To request a reschedule, applicants must submit an application to the Director of the National Testing Center (NTC) along with supporting documents.

Applications are accepted online during the following windows:

• December 20–30: For specific categories.

• February 15–25: For specific categories.

• April 10–25: For school graduates and other applicants (up to two applications allowed during this period).

• July 25 – August 5: For specific categories.

Applicants may choose their own testing center, date, and time during registration.

Appeals Process

• Content Appeals: Must be submitted strictly within 30 minutes after the exam concludes.

• Results Analysis: After the test, students have 10 minutes to review their results analysis map. They must then choose to either "Proceed to Appeal" or "Finish Without Appeal."

Individuals applying for related specialties with shortened periods of study will take the UNT in general professional and specialized disciplines.
