Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy, Serik Zhumangarin, announced that the introduction of a new tax regime has significantly increased the registration rates of citizens and businesses within the tax system.

According to information released by the Government's press service, more than 41.2 thousand individuals have re-registered for tax purposes since the beginning of the year. Furthermore, the new regime designed for the self-employed has successfully legalized 187.2 thousand citizens who were previously unregistered.

The project office, operating on the "single window" principle, reported that the number of inquiries dropped from 19.5 thousand to 7.1 thousand over the last three weeks. The Government views this as a sign that technical processes have stabilized.

Minister of Industry and Construction, Ersayin Nagaspayev, stated that:

  • 5,608 companies are currently authorized in the register of Kazakhstani goods producers.
  • 13,533 applications have been received in total.

Nursultan Shokanov, Deputy Chairman of the "Atameken" National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, added that 1,924 enterprises with existing industrial certificates were automatically included in the register. Currently, up to 100 new producers are being added to the registry every day.
