Nazarbayev Holds Talks with Mirziyoyev After Moscow Visit

The first president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, held a telephone conversation with the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This was reported by the official website of the Uzbek leader.

According to the report, at the beginning of the conversation, the parties congratulated each other on the upcoming New Year, wishing the brotherly nations peace, stability, and prosperity.

During the phone call on December 29, it was noted that the friendly relations and strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have reached a high level. They also discussed the step-by-step development of multilateral cooperation between the two countries in priority areas.

Previously, Nursultan Nazarbayev met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. In connection with this situation, Mazhilis deputy Yermurat Bapi proposed restricting foreign travel for individuals who hold state secrets.
