Ministry Announces Final Exams and Graduation Dates in Kazakhstan

The Ministry of Education has officially confirmed the final examination and graduation schedules for the 2025–2026 academic year.

Grade 9: Four Written Exams

Final exams for 9th-grade students will take place from May 29 to June 11. Graduates must pass four mandatory written examinations to receive their basic secondary education certificates, which determines their eligibility for high school or college admission.

Grade 11: Five State Exams

State graduation exams for 11th-grade students are scheduled from June 2 to June 15. High school graduates will face five exams in total, with one conducted in an oral format to thoroughly assess their knowledge.

The official presentation of graduation certificates will be held on June 17–18 within school premises.

According to the Ministry of Education, these graduation ceremonies can no longer be held arbitrarily. The event requires a formal decree from the school principal and must be organized strictly with the prior consent of the parent committee to prevent illegal fundraising or disputes.
