Massive Explosion at Ust-Kamenogorsk Plant: Building Destroyed, Fire Outbreak

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a dust collection unit exploded at the Kazzinc enterprise in Ust-Kamenogorsk, triggering a fire.

Initial reports indicate that the explosion was followed by an open flame, resulting in the partial collapse of the building. Upon arrival, rescuers established an emergency headquarters and began scouting the area to search for potential victims.

According to the latest updates, the fire has been contained. Rescuers are currently dismantling the collapsed structures and working to fully extinguish the remaining hotspots.

Preliminary data suggests that four people have been transported to medical facilities. Their conditions are currently being clarified.
