March 8 Gift: Multi-child Mothers in Ulytau to Receive 20,000 Tenge Payments

In honor of International Women's Day, multi-child mothers in the Ulytau region will receive a one-time social assistance payment. In accordance with the regulations approved by the regional Maslikhat (local council), nearly 188 million tenge has been allocated from the budget for this initiative, reports BAQ.kz.

The social payments are designated for mothers belonging to several honored categories, including:

• Holders of the "Altyn Alka" (Golden Pendant) and "Kumys Alka" (Silver Pendant) awards.
• Women previously awarded the title of "Mother Heroine."
• Recipients of the "Order of Maternal Glory" (I and II degrees).

A total of 9,375 mothers across the region fall into these categories, and each will receive a payment of 20,000 tenge. The press service of the Ulytau region Akimat (governor's office) confirmed that 187.5 million tenge has already been fully directed toward processing these payments.

According to regional statistics, women make up 50.7% of the Ulytau region's population. Local authorities emphasized that supporting mothers and enhancing their role in society remains a top priority in the region's social policy.
