Luxury Cars Seized from Perizat Kairat Transferred to Astana Police

High-end vehicles seized as part of the Perizat Kairat case are being transferred to the Astana City Police Department. This was confirmed by the Department of State Property and Privatization of Astana in response to an inquiry from Informburo.

On April 7, an auction was held for the transfer of a Mercedes-Benz S450 and a Haval H6 GT. Following the proceedings, the Astana Police Department was declared the winner.

A formal decision to add the vehicles to the police balance sheet will be made within 15 working days. The auction was restricted to legal entities registered as state institutions or enterprises. Participants included the Astana Police Department and the Logistics Department under the Prosecutor General's Office.

This follows a previous asset transfer in November 2025, when a seized Lexus LX 600 was handed over to the Financial Monitoring Agency (FMA).

Perizat Kairat was sentenced to 10 years in prison on fraud charges. Her mother was also sentenced to 7 years by court decree.

The court has mandated that they compensate 50 victims for damages totaling more than 1.5 billion Tenge.
